Employee Assistance Programs

Employee Assistance Programs provide your employees with individual counselling by registered psychologists and can help with work-related as well as personal psychological issues. We provide the added benefit of being able to meet your employees onsite at no additional cost.

An Employee Assistance Program is a workplace sponsored counselling program that offers the opportunity for employees to resolve the many and varied personal and work related concerns which may have an adverse affect on their workplace performance.

This confidential counselling and consulting service would normally be available to both employees and their immediate family members. We are also available to see clients outside normal business hours.

Siddons & Associates understand that the early identification of problems can be cost effective for all concerned as unresolved conflict can escalate and potentially cause more wide spread disruption such as absenteeism, tensions with colleagues (low morale) or even preventable resignations.

Studies have shown that the cost of losing a valued employee can be between 70% and 200% of the employee’s annual salary. Studies have also shown that up to 20% of a typical manager’s time can be spent dealing with conflict caused by one or more employees experiencing personal difficulties.

Through consultation with you, we will design an Employee Assistance Strategy that best meets your business processes and outcomes. We will, therefore, be innovative and flexible in how we deliver the service as we understand each situation requires a customised solution.

Some of our programs are outlined:

  • The Five Factor Model of Stress
  • Bullying and Harassment Issues
  • Stress Related Issues
  • Depression and Anxiety Disorders
  • Secondary Psychological Disorders
  • Anger Management Issues
  • Workplace Conflict (our Leadership Coaching and Career Management tools will often assist with this issue)
